Zero Carbon Resort

Unmissable will be offering the world's first 'zero-carbon' five-star resort due to open next year in Zanzibar, the 35 villas will be totally self-sufficient, using only energy from the sun and wind and producing little waste or carbon emissions. The 100 staff will be given bicycles, and electric cars will transport guests to and from the airport. Luxury has not been sacrificed and there will be a spa, swimming pool and a solar-powered restaurant, using food from its own farm. When guests use the machines in the gym, the energy they produce will feed back into the electricity supply!

Eco Chic

Let Unmissable prove to you there is more to camping than roll mats and sleeping bags, at this new luxury "Eco" campsite in the south of France. There are 12 handcrafted yurts (your room) complete with fluffy towels, king-sized beds and hammocks in private relaxation areas. Despite the palatial trappings, they are totally eco-friendly. There is no electricity, the showers are rainwater supplied with solar heating and the place lit by candlelight. Set in an oak-forest nature reserve, it overlooks the Ardeche River gorge, with paths to the river for hiking and swimming. |
