Gem ideas for a Diamond Jubilee

Unfurl the bunting, there’s another royal party in the offing. Next June, it’s the Diamond Jubilee, marking 60 years since the Queen came to the throne. With an extra bank holiday thrown in to help the nation celebrate, it’s going to be a tremendous flag-waving occasion trumpeting the best of British.  From arranging tea parties to polo lessons, to generally living it up regally, we’ve got plenty of ideas to help you with your promotional activity for this red letter royal date.

Great British street party

Get ready to wave your flags at a traditional British street gathering. Street parties have long been a legendary way for us to celebrate, bringing groups of neighbours & friends together in one place, for one day. We'll make sure it's an unmissable brand occasion with everything from bunting to buns provided (well okay, perhaps a little more upmarket). So raise a glass to the royals; you're getting an extra day's holiday after all, what's not to love?

Anyone for polo?

Learn the Sport Of Kings with a polo lesson fit for royalty. It's a great morning's fun that anyone can do regardless of riding experience. Our course takes you through all the basic elements of the game of polo to give you an all round picture and understanding of the sport. Spend time learning the rules and tactics, before being taught the polo swing and the four basic shots of the game. Then get onto your horse and learn to ride a polo pony, eek! One is bound to get tired after all that exertion, so spend the night at an 18th century manor house nearby. We'll get you backstage at a real match too, with an aficionado to give you personal commentary.

A Right Royal Weekend

Feel like royalty on a luxury weekend in London where we'll really roll out the red carpet for winners. They'll stay in a decadent suite overlooking the Royal Mews (& you can't get much closer than this to Buckingham Palace). Indulge in afternoon tea overlooking the Palace before retiring to your room and the next morning wake up in time for the changing of the guard before heading off to the Hyde Park for a private horse riding lesson. Freshen up before dinner & drinks at the Goring, recent hosts to the Middletons.
