Go out of this world on a
Space Academy adventure
As the mobile network partner for the 'War of The Worlds'
launch, Orange ran a promotion via their customer magazine
and on their web site to offer customers the chance to win
an 'Out of this world' experience. The highlight of the trip
to Alabama was a 3-day astronaut training camp, where our
winners were able to experience:
- Training simulators during actual space shuttle missions
- Four Gs of force when they blasted off 140ft on a Space
Shot
- The feeling of walking on the moon in the 1/6th Gravity
Trainer
- Alternate roles in mission control and shuttle crew during
two different two hour Space Shuttle Missions and witness
space exploration on the giant-screen IMAX Spacedome
- A tour of the US Space and Rocket Centre.
