98fm-spar-winner-windy-on-ellis-island-28th-oct-09Hi Justine,

My name is Niamh O’ Brien from Dublin and I am the lucky recipient of the recent trip to New York for two in conjunction with Spar and 98fm radio.

I was absolutely shocked when 98fm called me to tell me I had won the prize as I wasn’t even sure if the question I had answered was correct!  But to my delight, luck was in that day!

Myself and a friend headed off for the big lights just over a week ago and had an absolute ball!  Amazing how much energy you can drum up in your 30’s when there are outlet shops to be bought up!!  We fitted in a good number of activities and tourist sights over our 3 day stay in between our theatre and dining excursions!   The Lion King was unbelievable - so powerful on stage!  And the seats we had were one of the best in the house.

The main purpose of my email however besides wishing to express my thanks and gratitude for such a wonderful trip, is to make reference to the two girls who liased with me on the finer details.   I’ve never come across two more efficient co-ordinators than Lesley Ellerton and Kate Dawson.   The speed at which they had dates, times, shows, flights fired through to me was startling.  I could barely suggest a few date or show options when the details would be sent through to me for my preferred choices!  I think one of my last emails with Lesley regarding arrangements was on a Wednesday evening around 5pm and by Friday morning an itinerary with every detail down to a tea arrived in the post.   This means Lesley managed to print out the final arrangements before the evening post and send them off to arrive with me before the weekend.   When the final official documentation arrived, it came neatly arranged in a travel folder made easy for travelling.

I brought the folder to the attention of some friends, colleagues and family members accompanied with a verbal low-down of the preceeding dealings with Unmissable.  There wasn’t one person who it failed to impress.   And looking at your website I certainly agree that you bring “brilliant service” from “knowledgeable staff”.  However if i was to go one step further I would replace that with “exceptional staff” .

I am a holistic therapist in Dublin (www.inspirt.ie) and not sure how I could spread your name in my particular field of work, however i meet with a group of business professionals every Friday morning from lawyers to accountants, electrictians to chiropractors, business mentors to photographers etc., etc.   So if you think there could be some opportunity in that arena for me to plug you in any way in the future, please let me know.

I have to emphasise again the impact the girls made………………. if only we could get such service in Ireland!   They were really really impressive and so so pleasant to deal with.

I have attached a few photos of the trip! Just a few sterotypical ones of NY, but they might pass the teabreak for you (if you guys take teabreaks in there??!!!).

Once again, A MASSIVE thank you.  It was a trip most girls only dream about, let alone have everything paid and organised for them with such efficiency!

Santa came early!

All the best,

Niamh O’ Brien
