Organising a host of Mullerlight winners to New York is no mean feat but it certainly has been a whole lot of fun for those lucky enough to win. A little more feedback we thought we’d share reading this brought a smile to our faces:
Hello Lesley,
Just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for all the organising you did for our trip. We got back yesterday in one piece. Back to work today and still feeling a bit all over the place. New York was breathtaking. We managed to get lots done. The food was amazing but as you know, very fattening (and I was training for the Dublin marathon in October!). The weather was changeable, but quite frankly we were so preoccupied with looking up and around we barely noticed. The highlight of the trip was on our first night. We took the open top bus night tour around the south of Manhattan and across the Manhattan bridge (not too good for my fear of heights LOL!). Having seen a fair few places including San Francisco, I can honestly say that nothing really compares to what we saw that night.
The hotel was lovely and a great central location. Our room was on the 10th floor and fine for me. Our travelling companions requested a high floor and ended up on the 32nd (thanks but no thanks!).
All in all however a fabulous prize and we still cannot believe it all resulted from a yoghurt!
Warmest regards,
Sean and Jacqueline Goan
P.S. I really missed my pancakes with maple syrup this morning!
