Last week it was time for our final pimp to enter the building. Maureen is a recent addition to the Unmissable team but that didn’t stop her from wanting to join in the fun. Not intimidated by the fantastic culinary giants that have been carried lovingly into Battersea each week, she came up with one of her own – a larger than life summer pudding! Maureen lined a bowl with plain white bread then filled it with an array of summer fruits including redcurrants, blackcurrants, raspberries, strawberries & blackberries. Sugar was added & a splash of rose wine to give it some added punch. Not only did it look & taste amazing, but Maureen went one step better & even brought in whipped cream & sparkling rose to serve it with. The ultimate summer pimp!
