Cast your minds back, if you will, to that glorious week that we had last month - that week that we will call summer. Well that was the week that we hired Max Cherry, a 1977 VW campervan, and drove round Cornwall.
Max had just arrived back from Glastonbury where he had spent the weekend with two of our lucky winners who had enjoyed a VIP weekend pass there and was revved up and raring to go off road to check out some of the coolest camping sites around.
We had a brilliant few days with Max walking the coastal path, sea kayaking, marvelling at the Eden Project, eating fish and chips at Rick Steins, and always ending the day with a cosy cup of tea in the back of the van before we pulled out our rock n’ roll bed for good night’s sleep.
What a great week that was – the summer of ’09….
